The PostToast extension and scoring tools process post text locally in your browser.
LinkedIn posts and pasted drafts are not sent to PostToast. We use no analytics, advertising trackers, or AI APIs. If you voluntarily join the Pro waitlist, we receive the email address you submit so we can send launch information.
PostToast is a Chrome/Edge browser extension that analyzes LinkedIn post content locally in your browser and displays a cringe score. All analysis happens on your device using pattern-matching heuristics. No AI APIs, no cloud processing, no external calls.
PostToast does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
If you submit the optional Pro waitlist form, we collect the email address you enter for the sole purpose of sending PostToast Pro launch information. The form is processed by our website host, Netlify. We do not sell that address or use it for unrelated marketing. You may request deletion by emailing hello@posttoast.app.
PostToast uses chrome.storage.sync solely to store your extension preferences (e.g., whether the extension is enabled or disabled). This data stays in your browser and syncs only through your own browser profile if you have sync enabled.

PostToast does not request permissions for tabs, browsing history, downloads, or any other browser data.
The extension and scoring engine use no third-party APIs or analytics. The website is hosted by Netlify, which also processes optional Pro waitlist submissions. We do not use advertising trackers.
We do not sell personal information. Optional waitlist submissions are processed by Netlify as described above.
PostToast does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If our data practices change, we will update this page and its revision date.
