The extension runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server. No analytics. No tracking. No cookies. No accounts. We don't know who you are, what you read, or what scores you see.
PostToast is a Chrome/Edge browser extension that analyzes LinkedIn post content locally in your browser and displays a cringe score. All analysis happens on your device using pattern-matching heuristics. No AI APIs, no cloud processing, no external calls.
PostToast does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
PostToast uses chrome.storage.sync solely to store your extension preferences (e.g., whether the extension is enabled or disabled). This data stays in your browser and syncs only through your own browser profile if you have sync enabled.
PostToast requests the following permissions:
PostToast does not request permissions for tabs, browsing history, downloads, or any other browser data.
PostToast uses no third-party services. No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no anything). No advertising. No external APIs.
We do not share data with third parties because we do not have any data to share.
PostToast does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page. But honestly, our policy is "collect nothing" and that's unlikely to change.
